Dear parents and students,

Well, the school year is drawing to a close and we're ending it with interesting activities.  Remember that Monday the 18th is 6th grade Olympic day.  Have students bring a water bottle and dress in appropriate shorts, closed toe shoes, and the colored t-shirt for their homeroom country. If they bring big gulp bottles they can be replenished.  Also, they should apply sunscreen.  Let's have a great day filled with fun and great sportsmanship!!!  GO ITALY! (if you're in my homeroom.)

I will not be at PMMS half a day Wed., and all day Thurs., and Friday.

L. Arts-Students are writing an essay on their field trip experience to the Tellus Museum this week.

SS-Students are working on a credit card unit ....practical lesson w/ useful vocab and application activities.  They saw an informative dvd also.

FYI:  Remember that CRCT testing begins Tues., April 21st.  Be rested and ready with a #2 pencil to 'CRUSH the CRCT!!!!!!

SS--We took a brief trip to Australia and will begin our CRCT review today!!

L. Arts--We are working on sentence #29 and a 3 paragraph essay on spring break this week.  Ongoing is our CRCT review!

SS-We are finishing up our unit on Latin America Friday the 27th.  We will be traveling to Australia next!

L. Arts-We are continuing our CRCT review!  Students will work on sentence #28 next week!

3rd Nine Weeks report card goes home Thursday, March 19th.  Please sign and return ASAP!

L. Arts-Practice Writing Test is Wed., the 18th.  Students should bring book, #2 pencil, and a blue/black pen to their 1st period class!

SS-Students will be working on Oaxca Art (Mexican) and taking a Benchmark #4 test.
