This Week in AVID
We will be working on the following skills this week. Students will receive tutoring on Monday and Friday for all AVID students. Students are required to bring in two questions for each tutorial session.
Students will learn to calculate their GPA and complete GPA Goal Setting. Milestones in My Life Reflection Activity and My Accomplishments will be completed Tuesday thru Thursday.

AVID Tutoring
AVID tutoring is now held on Monday's and Friday's. Students are to complete their tutorial request forms before class and present them to the tutors upon arrival. Students who decide not to complete their questions will have to complete AVID tutorial make-up essay. The essay will be the summarization of an education or college based current event. The essay is three paragraphs in length.
7TH Grade Reading Book Report
Students were assigned a Non-Fiction book report on January 21,2009. They received written instructions and a rubric. The assignment is due on February 20th. Please email me if you have any questions or concerns.
