What was happening in Mrs. Cristy's lab this week?
6th - Composed paragraphs in Microsoft Word and explored the toolbars.
7th - Evaluated premade powerpoints and are starting research for the their powerpoint about PMMS.
8th - Completed the Choices Program
PAINT A ROOM - This week’s websites are fun. It is all about color. Different colors may make you display different emotions. The first site will explain about the different colors. The second site gives you the opportunity to “paint” different rooms of the house so you can experience this. When you click on the second site, go to the box that says, “color visualizer”. Then click on “launch color visualizer” . When you have gotten to this site, click on “paint an interior”. Have fun!

6th - They will explore the capabilities of Microsoft Word.

VIRTUAL TOURS I think you will like this week's websites. They are 360 degree virtual field trips. You will see different countries, museums, much more. Click on the link to open the document and choose any of these sites. If you put your cursor on the picture and click, it will stop. Holding down the left button on the mouse, you can drag up, down, and to either side. It will make you feel like you are there. Download virtual_tours.doc (Open this document and the links for the tours are in it.) Realtors also use this type of technology virtual home tours. Here is another site that I found: panoramic views. This last site is awesome,city tour,MORE CITIES, grand canyon, monitor merrimac, monitor merrimac 2.
Last week we did the following in all classes: They found satellite photos of landmarks they had written down. They were on the internet locating these places and writing identifying marks to locate them.
