This week in Georgia Studies, we will finish chapter 10, The Progressive Era. We will learn about the Great Depression and WWI before having a quiz on Thursday. Students will complete the study guide for the test on Friday. The test will be next Tuesday, the 31st.
AC students will take their chapter 10 test on Monday, 3/30, due to the honor roll celebration scheduled for Tuesday afternoon. They will also complete Current Event #8. The assignment should be downloaded at home. Use the embedded link to Georgia newspapers to find an interesting article before answering the questions. This will be due on Friday. In Language Arts this week
- Monday - Mr. Michelow will speak to us about basic web design and professional writing expectations.
- Tuesday - Students will finish a handwritten final draft of their resumes and begin a rough draft of their cover letters.
- Wednesday - Students will fill out an application for the job they have chosen.
- Thursday - We will be in the computer lab to type resumes and cover letters for one day only. All of the technical writing activities from Skills Tutor are due.
- Friday - Students will be given further information about the 8th grade job fair.
