This week in class:

6th Grade classes will be working on group presentations on disease and creating posters to go along with their presentations..

Welcome to the fourth grading period!  All students need to bring a folder with pockets and brads and lined paper to leave in the room.  Make sure you bring a pencil every day.  Please get your supplies and return your signed syllabus and Human Growth & Development permission slips ASAP!  We will be having a folder check soon!

This week in class:


6th Grade classes will be studying about prescription drugs and nutrition.   Students will participate in a "Future Pharmacists" activity by creating prescription labels and filling them (with Skittles!) using pharmacists' equipment.  Human Growth & Development will begin next week.

6th Grade classes will complete a safety unit by making first aid bags.   Think about the most important 10 items you feel should be included in a basic first aid kit.  Check out this site for safety information, games, and a quiz:  Your Safety
