This week we will be using a computerized simulation program called Decisions, Decisions to compare and contrast the ancient civilizations of Europe with the ancient civilizations of South America, our new unit of study. We will use the program for creating role play situations that require background knowledge of the subject material as well as problem solving skills to solve the "real world" situations presented in the program. Your student will be a part of a small group and will have an important role in the success of the group, so it is very important that he/she be in class each day for the next week.
