This week we read "Flowers for Algernon" from our textbook. We had a very insightful week of reading the progress reports and analyzing the characters. We connected the story to real world experiences by answering the question - How does a writer's ability to use grammar, punctuation, and words correctly affect the way he interacts with the world? We will finish the story next Monday, complete a study guide on Tuesday, and have the final test on Wednesday. Ask your student to discuss the events of the story with you. Have a great weekend!
