Welcome Back!
I am so looking forward to a new and exciting year here at Pine Mountain. I hope each of you had a great summer! Mine was filled from start to finish with exciting adventures both here and far away.
As the new school year approaches please remember to look over your handbook. Parents and students alike shoudl know the expectations of both chorus and music appreciation classes. I have attached the chorus handbook. for any questions regarding something in the handbook please feel free to contact me at any time and I will be thrilled to discuss it with you.
Below I have copy and pasted the Behavior Management plan for the Performing arts. Please be aware of what is expected each day.

BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT PLAN
CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS
1. Be prompt. (on time or have a tardy pass)
2. Be prepared. (instrument, music and pencil)
3. Be polite. (respectful of everyone’s feelings and property)
4. Be productive. (participate positively in class)
5. Be aware. (all school rules are in effect)
CONSEQUENCES
2 Citations: Behavior Essay
3 Citations: Parent Contact
4 Citations: Detention
5 Citations: Administrative Referral
REDEMPTION PLAN
Students may set up an individual redemption contract with their performing arts teacher.
CONDUCT GRADES
Conduct grades will be determined each nine weeks by the number of citations a student receives during the nine week grading period.
0 – 2 Citations: Satisfactory
3 – 4 Citations: Needs Improvement
5+ Citations: Unsatisfactory
