Millie Makeup rehearsals

Dates for make ups:

 

October 1st: Scenes 6-8 will rehearse after school until 6:00. This will be covering both Monday and Tuesdays rehearsal we lost this week.

October 8th: Scenes 12/14 will rehearse. The rest of the schedule will stay as is.

 

I am also working on a Saturday rehearsal in October sometime. The rehearsal will run from 10am to 5pm.

Our first rehearsal, will be on Monday September 14 from 4:30-6pm. I would like to have a brief parents meeting at six to discuss costumes, props and expectations. I look forward to seeing each of you there!

Thoroughly Modern Millie Jr. Auditions

Hello,

As many have heard we will be auditioning for our musical Thoroughly Modern Millie Jr. on September 8th or 9th from 4:30pm until 6pm.  All students who audition are required to stay for the entire audition process.

Students will learn 16 bars of a song from the musical and have a cold reading of a selected section of the script.  Students will also do a movement activity to make determine they can keep time with their bodies.

Students are to head to the chorus room when they are dismissed from class and there will be forms they are to fill out to give to the judges.

I can not believe we are already in the 4th week of school! It has been a whirlwind!

Chorus classes: Please remember that your Shirt orders are due this week! I plan on ordering shirts next week! Do not delay in ordering shirts!

Also, great job on your first sight singing tests. Grades will be posted as soon as all students have taken their tests. Please continue to work as hard as you do.

Music Appreciation: This week we will delve into the wonderful world of technology. Please be patient when you are waiting to set up sound equipment. It is extremely expensive equipment and each student should wait his or her turn.
