Peek of the Week for the Week of September 28 - October 3, 2008

Study Skills: For the next two or three weeks we will work on foreshadowing.  We will continue to explore this literary strategy in our current story, The Tale of Despereaux.  Remember this week, you have homework from Gallaudet's online magazine publication.  If you forgot what to do, here's an attached copy especially for you!  Download oct_3_study_skills_homework.doc   Have a happy week!

Reading:  You all did a great job on your wolf reports!  I enjoyed reading all of the great things you learned about these interesting animals.  This week we will finish our October Haiku poems.  We will also begin reading Lon Po Po by Ed Young.  In our chapter book, Matilda, we will read about the dreaded and terrible "Trunchbull".  Here's a copy of this week's homework in case you lose your copy.
