Monday, January 19, we take a pause to remember and reflect upon the life and works of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Following Monday's commerative holiday in his honor, we will embark upon a historic moment history as the first African American president will be inaugurated. Homework assignments for both reading and social studies will consist of vocabulary and writing assignments related to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the inauguration of our 44th president, Barack Obama.
